“Every story is unique, but do we all have the same desires for LOVE, FREEDOM and RECOGNITION?”

This is the question Yann Arthus-Bertrand, french photographer is asking with his project “HUMAN”.
What are the driving forces of humanity? What keeps us fighting? Why do we continue to make the same mistakes?

“HUMAN” captures beautifully aerial shot landscapes of nature and humanity in contrast to close ups of people narrating their story. Stories of experiences, strokes of fate but also everyday life all over the world.

Stories are what keeps us alive. They are food to our soul.

Yann Arthus-Bertrand creates wonderful pieces of art in photography like “HOME”, “Plante Earth” or “La terre vue du ciel”. With his signature being the aerial filming and photography we become eyewitnesses of earth’s beauty. His close up filming of faces becomes like his aerial filming too, a walk through delicacy of life. The narrated interviews invites to rethink our goals in life and to be thankful for what we have.
